I don’t think there’s a better location for engagement portraits than the location where he popped the question! Do you?
Kaitlin and Dylan have been together for two years, and during that time, they’ve spent many hours at the St. Clair Boardwalk enjoying walks along the river and time with one another. It’s also where Dylan got down on one knee and asked Kaitlin to marry him! So, when we talked about a location for their engagement pictures, I’m so happy that they decided on the boardwalk.
I love it when couples choose a place that means something to them, it makes the engagement session even more special!
After rescheduling due to a summer thunderstorm, we ended up with a beautiful night for their session, and the best part… there weren’t a lot of people! (This is unusual as the St. Clair Boardwalk can get busy in the summer.)
We started at the Palmer Park arch, then walked down to the boardwalk and finished their session at the St. Clair Riverview Plaza. There are a lot of images I love from their session, but the ones by the arch with the day lilies in front are my favorites!! The couple, the lighting, the arch, and the flowers… I’m in love!
We had a wonderful time together, and I’m excited to share some of my favorites from my session with Kaitlin and Dylan.
