Your morning will begin in the bridal suite. This will be the best spot to gather with your besties and put on all of the finishing touches before it’s time for your ceremony to begin. It’s spacious and luxurious to give you a fantastic backdrop for your candid pics!
The venue is extremely flexible and offers both indoor and outdoor locations for your ceremony. If you would prefer to get married off the premises, they will work around this. With nearby parks and churches, you are going to have a ton of options!
For those who prefer to tie the knot at the location, you can use the patio. This space is lush and quiet, with the clubhouse on one side and a forest on the other. Towering hydrangeas come to life during the summertime, giving you a flower-filled backdrop whether or not you choose to incorporate your wedding florals. The veranda also features cobblestone paving, making it convenient for your seating.
If you would prefer an indoor ceremony, you will be able to use one of several ballrooms. One of the most popular spots is the Fireside Room. This upscale space has a fireplace at the front that you can use for your altar. With enough room for up to 145 guests, this space is ideal for intimate, medium-sized weddings!

Once your ceremony is over, your guests can stick around the patio, or they can move up to the deck for drinks overlooking the golf course.
For your reception, you will be able to choose from several event spaces. The Grande Hall tends to be the most popular. This area contains a towering cathedral ceiling with a stone fireplace that reaches all the way to the top. The entire back of this section has floor-to-ceiling windows that show off the surrounding golf course. The carpet is navy with a subtle tan design that adds the perfect touch of elegance. Once you have finished dinner, your guests will be able to head out to the parquet dance floor in the center. The area has been decorated with neutral colors, so nearly every wedding style will feel right at home! This area can hold up to 200 guests.
If you would prefer something a bit more intimate, you can use the Fireside Room. With this spot, you will have an unforgettable celebration with those closest to you!

As a photographer, I have to spend a second talking about the wedding photo opportunities at Oakhurst Country Club! The entirety of the interior will give you a lovely backdrop for practically every part of your wedding! We can snap some candid pictures in the dressing suites, taking advantage of the neutral color schemes. Then, once you are done getting ready, we can head outside and take pictures just outside the clubhouse.
For your couple’s portraits, you can explore the course and find endless spots. The course is always a good option. With sprawling green fields, you can really get some gorgeous golden hour photos! Another option is the attached forest. Because the trees are pine, the forest floor stays pretty clear. You can easily navigate this area even in your fanciest heels!
Finally, the patio is always a good choice for group photos. This area is perfectly flat while still giving you the forest as a backdrop.

With Oakhurst, you will be able to work with a team of experts who know how to throw a wedding unlike any other! The very first thing you need to know is that membership is not required to host your wedding here. This venue welcomes every couple to come and celebrate on its grounds! The venue does have its own planner who will start to work with you right from the beginning. Not only will they be there to help you figure out the logistics, but they can also help you choose between catering menus. Their culinary team will take care of all the meals, and they will provide you with bartenders and servers to keep your party going. They will also take care of the clean-up once the evening is over.
