Located in Sterling Heights, Michigan, Freedom Hill Banquet & Event Center is a great location for couples looking for an all in one location. Freedom Hill offers large dressing rooms for both the bride and groom, and their wedding party to get ready in.
Guests can sit on the spacious stone patio, while watching the couple tie the knot under a beautiful white cedar gazebo. After the ceremony, guests can then walk right into the reception area for cocktail hour while family formals and bride and groom portraits take place.
Freedom Hill Banquet & Event Center collaborates with couples to help make their event a success. They offer cake-cutting services, a champagne toast for the head table, and linen. They also offer catering that can accommodate certain dietary restrictions and exceptional customer service.

The Patio

The Gazebo
The gazebo provides an enchanting setting for exchanging your vows. With the bride's graceful entrance down an asile adorned with flowers towards her groom, the gentle sunlight filtering through the trees sets the stage for a truly memorable moment.
The Dressing Rooms
Freedom Hill provides two spacious dressing rooms for getting ready and hanging out before the ceremony. Getting ready at your venue eliminates the need for travel, allowing you to fully embrace the joy of your special day.
The BanQuet Room
The banquet hall comfortably seats up to 200 guests. Exquisite chandeliers suspended from the ceiling adding elegance and charm. The floor plan provides an excellent view of both the head table and the dance floor.
The Backyard
Beyond the gazebo and patio lies a picturesque yard perfect for capturing portraits. This easily accessible area ensures convenience for all guests while offering a stunning portrait location.

A few of the most frequently asked questions about photogrpahing weddings at Freedom Hill Banquet & Event Center
I highly recommend getting ready at Freedom Hill. Freedom Hill offers large dressing rooms for both the guys and the girls to get ready in, which allows you not to feel so rushed by adding in extra travel time to your wedding day.
An afternoon ceremony would be great at Freedom Hill. Exact time depends on the season. In the summer, I recommend a later ceremony starting between 4pm and 6pm and in the fall, I recommend an earlier ceremony starting between 1pm and 3pm.
Freedom Hill has many beautiful locations for portraits, but I recommend taking family formals just past the patio in the yard. It allows for easy access for those who have difficulty walking, and provides great light!
I recommend planning on 20-45 minutes for bride and groom portraits. There are several beautiful locations for portraits at Freedom Hill to capture.
Freedom Hill is a great year round location. One question to ask before booking your wedding, is if there will be a concert at the Amphitheatre? The Ampitheatre isn't too far from the banquet center, if a concert is going on, you will not only hear it, but may also experience concert attendees walking across the lawn.
