Princess Ava

You may remember Ava from her 5 year old session in December. She was featured in my very first blog post!

Ava is one of those people who’s smile can light up a room and I love working with her!

I met Ava and her mom in Port Huron one night in August for Ava’s princess session. I had some locations in mind that I had been wanting to take pictures at, but unfortunately things didn’t go as planned. As soon as we got Ava in the dress and ready to go, the winds picked up and were crazy strong which resulted in wind blown hair… (not the look we were going for lol) We tried to do a few pictures at those locations but between trying to work with the sun and the wind, we ended up having to switch things up a bit and play “dodge the wind”. We used several buildings and walls to block the wind and made it work. 🙂 In-spite of the wind, Ava still had a great time and even asked it she could take the dress to show and tell the next day to show her friends. <3

Once we were finished and Ava was out of the dress, Ava wanted to go see the fountain with her mom. I was going to pack up my things, but then saw Ava and her mom together at the fountain and couldn’t help myself. I had to take a few shots of them together, and of Ava doing some tricks on the wall! lol (Check out a few of these at the end!)

Here are a few of my favorites from my time with Ava.

April 🙂

The next three images are so precious! You can truly see the love between Ava and her mom!
