Located deep within the Michigan countryside on 80 acres, the White Barn Event Venue is more than just your typical run-of-the-mill wedding venue. What was once a working barn has been reimagined into a beautiful event venue that seamlessly blends rustic charm with an elegant allure. First, the space is family-owned by a husband and wife power duo of Evan and Sarah White. After their own barn wedding, they set out with a dream to open their own barn venue rooted in affordability, simplicity, and flexibility. So you know that you will be the center of attention and cared for by a team that truly cares.
Next is the barn itself. Much of the original design has been kept while creating a huge, beautiful, open space for receptions and celebrations. Since most of the venue is exposed beams and no extra frills, the barn becomes like a blank rustic canvas for each and every wedding to become a unique experience.
Details of the Grounds
The grounds of the venue feature open pastures, a pond, whitewashed patios, and beautiful old trees scattered around the barn. So there is no shortage of space or options available for an outdoor ceremony. Many couples will choose to do outdoor ceremonies by the pond or on the patio, a little closer to the barn. Either way, your ceremony will have stunning backdrops. But don’t worry, if bad weather is in the forecast or you simply prefer the indoors, the barn can also be used as a ceremony space!
When it is time for cocktail hour, you get the choice of indoors or outdoors. Depending on your ceremony, you may set up a socializing area on the patio under some market lights or inside their lounge. Or use both! The patio will be complete with market lights, tall tables, and a selection of lawn games ready for fun!
